Drittes Projektmeeting

(English version below)

English

Nearly 100 different ideas for technical interventions in nursing care were lying on the large table in the meeting room of the historic “Haus Neufert”, and were ready for the third project meeting. The previously developed and jointly categorised ideas were discussed, recombined and further developed by all project partners. With this abundance of concepts, this naturally also meant saying goodbye to some of them (for the time being).

During the selection and discussion process we always referred to our empirical observations, which we were able to collect and analyse during the field research phase at the Sophienstift in Weimar. Not only the formal procedures and processes were of interest, but also the invisible, tabooed or seemingly secondary aspects of institutional care.

In the coming weeks, we will concretize the initially 27 selected ideas individually or in small teams, elaborate them further and reflect critically on them once again, so that they can then serve as a basis for participatory design methods. We will also be presenting some of the ideas at the Aveneo, the innovation area at the nursing care fair for the elderly that is being held in Hanover from 24 to 26 March 20.

This time we were supported by Ida Christensen, who enriched our work with valuable experiences that the Odense Kommune was able to gather in dealing with technologies in nursing work. Unfortunately, the previous team member Eduardo Ruiz Ramírez, PhD student at the SDU in Odense, has left the project. We would like to thank him for the good and exciting cooperation so far and wish him all the best for his new project!
